Bio

Raphael Yoshitomi was born in Zurich. After a few years of studies in psychology and philosophy at Zurich University, he quits his student life and dedicates his career to his true passion: A creative mind since his early childhood, he determines photography to be the best way to express himself. Starting off as an autodidact in the early 90s, he gets involved as a photo assistant for local productions. Soon, he leaves Switzerland to start his education at SPEOS Photographic Institute in Paris. 1997-1999, assisting André Rau and other well-known fashion photographers to put theory into experience. From 2001, he worked as an independent photographer in Paris focussing in fashion, beauty and fine art photography. 2014, he moved to Luxembourg where he started to extend his activities towards portraiture and architectural photography.

Throughout his versatile fields of expression in his media of choice he’s always kept his signature in formal language: harmony
